Dr. Wayne E Anderson
is the Founder, Visionary and Overseer of "The International City of Refuge Christian Church Ministries".  A native of New York, Dr. Anderson was raised in the Baptist church.  As a youth, he also was impaired by a speech impediment,  but God brought victory and called him into the ministry.  The call of God brought Dr. Anderson to Hawaii in 1979 where he started, The City of Refuge Christian Church in February 1980.  Dr. Anderson's ministry has grown to an international level, expanding from the Hawaii ministry, where he has trained and developed pastors and ministry leaders to be effective for the ministry.  The churches featured on this site are those that have chosen to take on the City of Refuge name and vision...submitting to the spiritual authority of Dr. Anderson.

The theme of his ministry is also the name of the television broadcast "You Have A Right To Be Free".  It can be seen throughout the Hawaiian Islands and parts of Asia to Include:  India, Japan, the Philippines and parts of China.  Dr. Anderson delivers a message that inspires holy living and motivates one to please God.  He preaches and reaches the Word of God with uncompromising boldness and clarity.  His message range in topics dealing with  family, relationships, spiritual freedom, biblical doctrine, financial stewardship, developing a relationship with God, holiness and healing.  He deals with some of today's most controversial issues such as racism, homosexuality, abortion and gun control with fresh, easy to understand revelation from God's word.  His message is effective in knocking down religious walls and restoring the path to God.

Dr. Anderson has authored books that equips and challenges the Body of Christ to live a life empowered by the Spirit of God and free from demonic oppression.  His books, "Don't Break Ranks", "Breaking Free", and "Lethal Weapons of your Satanic Adversary" are examples of the diversity of topics from which he ministers.

Dr. Anderson is a frequent guest speaker at men's camps, pastor's conferences, revivals, and crusades.  His many ministry of the gifts of the Spirit and powerful presentation of the Gospel has impacted the lives of thousands.  The many locales where he has ministered include: Korea, Guam, the Philippines, Japan, South Africa, Germany and across the United States.

Dr. Anderson has a BA in Religion, MA in Religion and Leadership Sciences, a Ph.D in Theology, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Education.

Dr. Anderson's straight forward messages of hope and encouragement are currently available through audio/video cassettes and other writings.
